SMALL FOOTPRINT
The Lucidity LC-UV has by far the smallest footprint of any fully functional macroscale LC out there. It’s slightly bigger than that of a shoebox while slightly taller than twice the height of a shoebox. This makes the system ideal for putting in multiple locations, being able to move it when needed, and makes it very easy to install.
VARIABLE WAVELENGTH UV DETECTOR
Included in the system is a variable wavelength UV detector that is capable of measuring signal from 185nm to 475nm allowing you maximum optimization capability and the ability to match reference results that have been generated at a particular wavelength.
BINARY GRADIENT PUMPING SYSTEM
The two high-end, high pressure piston pumps allow the system to deliver very accurate solvent gradients even up to 10,000 psi of back pressure with flow rates from 0.1mL/min to 10mL/min meaning you can even use UHPLC columns with small particle sizes with the Lucidity LC-UV for maximum resolving capability.
INTEGRATED 20 POSITION AUTOSAMPLER
Put your samples in standard HPLC vials, place up to 20 of them in the autosampler rack and start the run. No need to babysit the system while it is running.
POWERFUL USER FRIENDLY INTERFACE
We have custom designed our user interface with the customer and ease of use in mind. Our goal has always been to create an extremely powerful interface allowing full functionality but while also being extremely easy to navigate with no training required. If it requires a manual to use, it’s probably too complicated.
INTEGRATED DEGASSER
The Lucidity LC-UV inlcudes a high end integrated degasser that removes dissolved gasses from your mobile phases, ensuring the most stable baseline for the best possible sensitivity and repeatability.
USES STANDARD HPLC & UHPLC COLUMNS
The Lucidity LC-UV uses standard HPLC and UHPLC columns so there’s no need to buy specialty columns from only one vendor. This also allows you match results from literature and other systems / labs.
MATCHES THE RESULTS OF TRADITIONAL HPLCs / UHPLCs
Although the Lucidity LC-UV is dramatically smaller, more affordable, and easier to use, the chromatograms produced with the Lucidity LC-UV are indistinguishable from results produced by other traditional HPLCs & UHPLCs, so that results can be matched and compared to literature results, historical data, and outside lab results.
User interface
We have designed control and data viewing software for the Lucidity LC-UV that is the easiest to use LC software available while allowing full control of the system. The Lucidity LC-UV comes with a laptop with the software that connects to the system via an ethernet cable. The software and all future upgrades are free and open source to anyone so our software can be seamlessly integration with any LIMS system and the data can be exported into cvs for external data viewing and analysis.
