Too Many Columns, Not Enough Space?
Proper storage of GC columns is critical to maintain column integrity and performance. Improper storage can lead to degradation and contamination resulting in loss of performance. Lucidity has designed column racks to properly store GC columns and save counter space.
When the column is taken out of the oven, the column holder is taken off the caddy and can be placed directly onto the column rack. The column holder makes a tight connection with the rack, preventing any moisture, dust or particles to enter the column. Additionally, there are slots on the column holders to hold the ID tag so columns stay identified.
