There’s nothing like spending time in the field

This week the Dans are at the Fall 2025 ACS (American Chemical Society) meeting in Washington, DC, and last week Daniel Nason was in Puerto Rico with our Avantor friends at PRChem 2025 in San Juan. In San Juan, Nason presented for a couple hundred onlookers from academia and industry as well as participated in the conference and exhibit. The presentation quickly became interactive as a couple of users came on stage to operate and interact with our products themselves, seeing first hand how easy and inviting they are to use. In both venues, over the course of the past few weeks, we were able to interact with hundreds of customers and potential customers learning what’s important to them, what they struggle with every day, what makes their lives easier, and what they wish was available. And we continue to hear the passionate engagement our customers have with our new solutions. One passionate scientist in San Juan grabbed the microphone Nason was using during his presentation and said to the audience, “Everybody needs to buy one of these!”. Another passionate researcher in DC after seeing how easy the GC columns were to insert into the Lucidity GC said, “You’ve got to be f-ing kidding me!” (He has clearly changed a lot of columns the traditional way in his life). And we keep hearing that our price is a fraction of the price of traditional systems that provide similar capabilities.
The people we meet in the field always fuel our fire to continue to innovate and to continue to provide the very best solutions we can to them, and hopefully we are able to fuel their fire for analytical chemistry as well!
