We all worry about what our spouse would think if they caught us running a GC in the kitchen…

Recently this actually happened to one of our colleagues at Avantor in the UK.  Mike Lea, a Sales Specialist in the Greater Northampton area of the UK, found himself in just that situation recently.  As reported by Mike, “I was doing some GC in my kitchen and the set up was as smooth as can be.  My wife got home from work and found it particularly funny I was just sat in the kitchen running a GC”.

It’s unclear if Mike began testing food and beverage products in his kitchen ensuring their quality with vigor with his trusty Lucidity GC-FID and accompanying Lucidity GAS, but one thing was clear.  It was simple enough and small enough to set up and have running on a kitchen table in under 30 minutes.
