The Dans crack a cold one after a productive and busy Fall ACS

Welp, after a long drive up into the Rockies with their trusty mini truck, the Dans arrived in Denver for the Fall ACS show. And boy was it worth it. We had another fantastic show with more than 100 people stopping by the booth, which meant the show was a smashing success. We managed to find some footage of them on the last day of the show hard at work in the booth… or maybe celebrating… or maybe they just needed a couple of cold ones after a long trip.
Some of the highlights of this particular conference:
- We had a bunch more people tell us how much they loved the look of our systems (one person told us “thanks for making lab equipment cool”)
- Prospects continue to express amazement at the cost of our systems (one particular prospect mentioned they were quoted 3 times the price of our HPLC for a comparable HPLC from someone else)
- We again saw first hand how much people love the quick column change (one experienced chemist even said “holy sh*t” when we showed it to him)
- Academics love the idea of being able to purchase their own GC and/or HPLC instead of having to share systems with other groups
- University and even high school instructors love the idea of simple analytical tools that can use in a teaching lab but that can produce high quality results
